Randy & Adele Buettner, Natalie Weichel, Class Sponsor & Tyler Darroch with Amylia on Dixie

"Dixie" is sired by Solanos Peppy San (deceased February 2008) and out of Majors Daughter who is a granddaughter of the infamous Major Bonanza. This athletic and willing mare was raised and trained by Natalie Weichel of Whispering Sands Training Centre out of White City, Sask.

Together, Amylia & Dixie have enjoyed a successful reining career . 2005 was their first year and not only did they bring home three champion buckles. . . they also were part of many stories, laughs and had enormous fun! 2006 followed with continued success including placing 3rd overall at the 2006 Canadian National Quarter Horse Show in Open Youth Reining. In addition, Dixie also qualified for the 2006 CRBC in Winnipeg.

Although Dixie had an injury and was not shown in 2007, we are excited to see her back in the pen this year.

Who Whiz Your Daddy
AQHA-2005 Mare

We like Dixie so much, that we are very pleased to have purchased Dixies ½ sister, “Who Whiz Your Daddy” by “Who Whiz It.” AKA: “Lucy”
LucyAmy will be showing this year in the 3 year old classes and youth classes.  We see enormous potential in this little filly as she already demonstrates she has the mind,  spirit and talent of her mother, Dixie…and the athleticism and presence of her sire. We are confident she will be noticed in the ring in 2008!

The Nobel Juan
2006 AQHA Gelding

Juan is the first foal out of our mare, Star of Imprimis.

Sired by Star of Tradition (son of world champion Noble Tradition) was a double futurity winner as a weanling (both in Saskatchewan and Manitoba). With his laid back personality, he is showing great promise as an all around youth prospect. By show time, he would have had nearly 10 months of professional training by our trainer Natalie Weichel of Whispering Sands Training Centre. We look forward to seeing him in the all around classes this show season! Watch for him.....
